A Tradition of the Highest Levels of Service

Afro-Asian was established in 1988 by our founder and promoter, Rasik Patel, who wanted to build on his extensive network of connections and resources in the Afro-Asian countries. Being a perfectionist in all matters relating to professional reinsurance, his aim was to create a corporate entity that would offer a very high level of service at a fair price.

The day-to-day management of the company was handed over to his son, Udai Patel in 2002. Udai is the Managing Director of Afro-Asian and heads up a dedicated and motivated team of professionals.
